SurveillanceSub is the industrial model. It is designed for all types of shallow water industrial work such as salvage, security patrol, treasure hunting, inspections, diver delivery, filming, photography, etc.

A sub pilot can now take any expert under water to participate in tasks that would otherwise have to be accomplished by trained divers. The SurveillanceSub can be configured to carry one, two, or three occupants plus payload. It has a protective cage of stainless steel to permit operations in low visibility where there is a risk of contact with objects. Standard equipment also includes SONAR, Fly-By-Wire Joystick, Electronic Buoyancy Control, Electrical Systems Monitor, Lights, and Expanded Air Supply. Additional lights, including locator beacons, as well as various Ultrasonic Communications Systems for communicating with divers or surface personnel are optional. All SportSub models put safety first and come equipped with numerous backup systems.
