Marlowbraid is the all polyester line that size for size is typically 40% stronger than conventional braid on braid polyester giving improved sail performance and added safety when conditions dictate.
Additional information
Rope Stretch Rope Stretch factors are typically half that of conventional braid on braid so sail trim is more precise. This saves damage to sails, enhances sail life and greatly improves your sailing performance. When making your line selection consider the lower stretch, higher strength performance benefits of Marlowbraid and see how you might reduce the diameter of your line. This could save you money and/or improve rope handling.
Construction The performance characteristics are made possible by the proven low twist Marlow 3 strand core which delivers the additional strength and reduces stretch. This is protected by the race proven, hard wearing polyester cover yet is easy on the hands when held for constant sail trim.
Splicing Marlowbraid is easily spliced. A spliced rope retains around 95% of its straight-line strength.
Applications The ideal halyard, sheet, guy and control line for both long distance cruising and day sailing.
